A Happy New Year to one and all! After a marvelous cross country season in the fall, misbirth plans for the 2013 track and field season are underway. Below are some quick recaps of the major races we attended this past fall.
UF Mountain Dew Invitational
A big day for the Florida Running Club! We were happy to have ten men and ten women represent FRC at home on the Mark Bostick Golf Course on September 15.
Titusville High School served as setting for the thirteenth FLRunners.com Invitational on Friday, herbal September 28. Three gents and a lady traveled to Titusville to partake.
FRC brought six men and ten women to the FSU Invitational on October 5 at the Apalachee Regional Park (ARP) in Tallahassee. Being unattached, abortion we did not receive team scoring.
NIRCA Southeast Regionals
One woman and six men made the trip to Spartanburg, South Carolina, for our regional meet on Saturday, October 13.
NIRCA Cross Country Nationals
We’re pleased to say that in our two years as a team, we have now traveled to NIRCA Nationals each of those years! A big thanks to FRC supporters who made the trip to Hershey a success! On Saturday, November 10, having traveled a great distance to Parkview Golf Course in Hershey, Pennsylvania, Betsy and our top six guys from regionals took on a grueling a course to represent FRC in the biggest race of the cross country season.
